Questions about the MonaVie Product

January 20th, 2009 by admin

We have received a lot of questions about the product called MonaVie.

The MonaVie is a blend of at least 18 different ingredients. So it is not 100% acai…far from it. So it is not appropriate to compare it to other products that contain mostly pure acai berry and little else in the way of additional ingredients.

Although they list acai as the first ingredient, the actual amount of acai in the product could be very small, but we don’t know because unfortunately, the company does not disclose how much acai is in their product. In addition, the product is very expensive.

So MonaVie is not a product that fits our criteria for potency, purity and price.

The other issue is that the product is part of a multi-level sales plan. Products that are part of multi-level sales plans often are very expensive, so that the company can afford to pay many levels of sales commissions for the muli-level sales agents.

Here is a story from a recent Newsweek Magazine about the Monavie product: Newsweek Magazine article about MonaVie.

For purity, potency, and price the Perfect Acai is far and away our top choice among all the various products.

I have a distributor on my team that has recieved several shipments of (emv lite) that has a foul odor, tastes like it has been fermenting, and leaves a bad after taste. He has called and returned product for exchange. He has told monavie custmer service about the problem,it seems the product that he is experiencing the problem with comes from product with the lot date 4/12,
I have tasted it along with other people in our group out of two seperate shipments, it definitely
does not taste the same as it has in the past. He is going to request credit on last shipment just recieved and not order anymore. His distributor #3057848 The last order #22267451.
Please, test this product lot date 4/12. If there has been any changes in your ingredients please let me know.

    Truely,

Monavie juices are safe for diabetics to drink with a meal. They help to keep blood sugar levels stable. Check out their new website for nutritional information. The fact that the juices are not 100% acai berry is the point. There is something beneficial from each ingredient to your body and when combined, make a very complete nutritional supplement. Are they expensive? Yes. Not so much because of the way it is sold (you mean to tell me those millions of dollars of advertising on tv, magazines, etc isn’t for store sold products?) it is because there are so many clinically based, peer reviewed trials (including external ones done by universities) and the quality of ingredient (for example Wellmune in the (m)mune juice- which monavie did not create but buys). Do your research, not on google but google scholar and read nutrition books. Hope this helps. -
