Avoid Free Acai Berry Offers

We are going to talk a lot more about this in upcoming posts but here is the bottom line. And remember that this problem involves much more than acai berry products. Many direct marketing organizations are using this sleazy method to get people inadvertently put onto their so-called “auto-ship” programs for a variety of different products.

Credit card companies and the US Federal Trade Commission get complaints about this kind of thing all the time for many different kinds of products and from many different fly-by-night companies. It appears that the complaints are so widespread that the regulators have a hard time keeping up with them.

Acai Berry Autoship Scam

The scam is simple. It is an autoship scam. You order a free sample of something and then at regular intervals you start getting products delivered to your doorstep AUTOMATICALLY on a regular basis even if you haven’t placed another order.

Yes, you are automatically shipped product(s) and these products are usually grossly overpriced. Your credit card gets charged for everything.

Let me state that we would never use these unethical marketing methods and would never allow these type companies to advertise on this website.

Let me repeat…It’s not just acai berry. This sleazy marketing scam is common to a lot of products.

It would be impossible to say that all companies that autoship products are scandalous. But the red flag should go up when you can see that people are getting tricked into unknowingly signing up for autoship. If the website makes the details hard to find, then it is an obvious Buyer Beware situation.

Obviously, this is a disgusting way to do business. It is a ripoff and the people perpetrating these things should be ashamed of themselves. They will get caught eventually. Either the authorities will shut them down or the credit card companies that process their transactions will cut them off first. But for now, here is some advice to pass this along to your friends and family.

1) Avoid Free Offers for any product that requires you to pay for the shipping with a credit card. (There is no free lunch, folks!)

2) Always search around the website for a link to “Terms” or “Terms and Conditions.” Click on these links to read the terms and you will see what they have in mind. The scamsters count on the fact that most people don’t read the fine print!

Look for more information on this blog in the coming weeks. Send us your comments.. We’d love to hear from you.

On the positive side there are some excellent companies providing high quality acai berry products at non-inflated prices that do business in a completely ethical way. And, yes, the companies advertised on this website are ethical companies.

A Trusted Acai Berry Source

Remember, we promise that we will never allow unethical companies to be advertised on this website!

Our favorite product is Perfect Acai. Be comforted to know that in addition to being a great product…
Perfect Acai does not “auto-ship” products.
Because they don’t auto-ship, there are no “terms and conditions” to look out for.
Plus they do NOT store credit card information.
So you can buy Perfect Acai with comfort and confidence.

Have a healthy day!
