Acai Berry Side Effects
Are there any acai berry side effects?
No, there are no known acai berry side effects but let's clarify a few things…
Asking if there are "acai berry side effects" is like asking if there are side effects to eating apples, peaches, bananas or any other fruit. Now of course some people could be allergic to acai berries or any other fruit but that is not what we are talking about here. Aside from individuals who may be allergic to acai, we have never heard of any known acai berry side effects.
Acai berries are an extremely nutritious fruit and have been consumed regularly, often daily, by the local residents of the Amazon rainforest area, where the fruit grows, for a long time, probably for centuries. And, when we say there are no known side effects from acai berry we are referring to 100% pure authentic acai berries in either fresh form (not available outside of the rainforest area in Brazil) or freeze dried acai berry made from 100% pure organic acai berries. For instance, our favorite product featured on this website called Perfect Acai contains 100% pure organic freeze-dried acai berries and no other ingredients.
Pure acai berry is pure fruit. Aside from folks with allergies to specific fruits, there are no side effects from pure fruit. But to make certain that you are buying a pure authentic acai berry product you must read the ingredients label – that's the label on the back! Be sure to examine the ingredients in Perfect Acai here. Perfect Acai ingredients.
Side effects are usually associated with drugs or chemicals. A pure organic acai berry product should contain nothing more than pure freeze dried fruit, like in the pure, authentic organic product Perfect Acai.
But here is a potential problem. Most products with that say Acai Berry on the label are just not pure acai berry products. The only way to tell what is in the product you are considering is to read the label.
So, read the ingredients labels and buy only 100% pure authentic (and organic!) acai berries.
Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that it is always wise to consult your doctor whenever you start a new supplement program – especially if you have any medical conditions, are taking prescription drugs, are pregnant or nursing, or have hereditary conditions such as asthma or allergies. To date however, there are no known drug reactions to taking 100% pure acai berry supplements nor are there any serious acai side effects. There are no daily requirements that have been established for acai berry supplements. While there are no side effects of acai berry, some individuals with pollen allergies have reported that they exhibited slightly aggravated allergic reactions from it. One minor issue that has been reported is for people with pollen allergies, could find that their condition is aggravated somewhat by acai berries. But the number of reports has been very small and the symptoms have been minor, but it is something that should be noted. As always, if you are unsure about your reaction to acai berry then talk to a medical doctor or nutritionist.
